What are we watching?
Re: What are we watching?
Dev’s off for spring break starting this weekend, so, maybe we’ll go see it.
I did rather enjoy the episodes of Our Flag Means Death that have aired so far. It’s quite like What We Do In The Shadows, only with pirates, and it’s a straight story, no one is talking to the camera. But the vibe is there.

It's a well-written movie (sans politics) with zero bat-campiness. I almost wish the event that happens in the third act didn't happen, to keep the movie smaller, but then Bruce wouldn't have matured a lil' bit.

I'm finding it ok but not quite hooked, but then Shadows took me about four or five eps to get sucked in.

Been going through a phase of mild depression due to the taxes i didn't want to pay (make your own moola, pay your own taxes UGH) but thats over with.
Seen a lot of in theater flicks with my Marcus Theaters $15/mo movie pass:
The Batman (twice)
Morbius
X
Umma
Encanto
Jackass Forever
Studio 666
Pokemon Detective Pikachu
Rons Gone Wrong
Infinite Storm
and I still have a ton on my queue. The last 3 on my list were much better than expected. The horror movies were so-so, Morbius was POOP, and Bats ran a little too long. Been absorbed in my new Xbox too which is another reason why I havent been reviewing admit it you read my reviews and think the opposite anyways

Looks like The Graveyard Book is being optioned (again). Fingers crossed for something good to pan out of it.

As we all know, the greatest DC Vertigo title is going to Hollywood and...
Nnnno... not that DC Vertigo comic, this one!
This being the Adrienne Barbeau-less sequel to the 1982 blockbuster Swamp Thing, I'm sure the RiffTrax guys will have a difficult time finding something to snark at.
