Still waiting!

This is why I'm not a fan of ETHerium. There's a level of crap you have to go through to transfer/use it. Expect ETH to get replaced by ADA or DOT or something with significantly less pozz.

Disclaimer: Owned ETH at $200 and sold at $1400. I bet it'll hit $3k before it stagnates, but I can't recommend something I don't like using.

tl;dr: 3-1/2 hours to see if I have the winning bid on the thingie.

I went to to see what NFT art they had for sale. Lots and lots of garbage, but I did find something I wanted to bid on. It's like eBay - auctions and direct sales. To bid, I had to use Wrapped ETH, which isn't ETH but I had to buy ETH to get WETH. And I had to use a special wallet to dump the crypto into (Metamask). Bought ETH from Coinbase and moved it to Metamask. For some reason I had to convert ETH to WETH with another app called Zerion.

All this flipping and flopping and flooping TOOK HOURS. Not impressed with the tech that should instantaneously zap money from point A to B. Plus there's stupid little fees to go between each app, and then there's time wasted -- hours of it -- in confirming 'zero transfer amounts' to ensure I was me. This may be the future, but it smells a little scammy right now.

Now my ETH is WETH in the right place and confirmed and blessed and whatever and I'M READY TO GO. So I placed a bid on the thingie.

We'll see in a few hours if I won. I'm becoming and expert at buying nothing.

Edited in case the wrong people see the old comments.

I got the NFT for the price I wanted!

If you're a cynic, you could say that I bought nothing, or even better, I bought nothing and paid for it in nothing. :P
If you're a literalist, you could say that I bought a tiny bit of data that has been recorded as MINE and has bounced around the InterWoobs 3500 times in financial transactions so far. ... 0045cb7b5e
If you're a visualist, I bought this[query]=E4%20Squares. I mean, you're seeing a replica of it, but I own the artist's original unique piece, and I have it stored in a digital wallet like I do my Bitcoin.

Some of you remember The Olde Board when I was making goofy little things like this all the time. Maybe I should resurrect them and turn them into NFT art...

I just learned Dropbox doesn't play animated gif files. Not moving, it looks like a green oval. Hrmph.

The next two months will see a crazy upward trend. Any dips now will be institute fakeouts to buy retail's BTC for cheap.

Lets make a prediction... $90,000 by May 15th?

Also, like, in 24 hours, one Bitcoin gave me 3x more money than the government was willing to.

If you invested at the $30,000 dip six weeks ago, you *counts on fingers* you'd be more better off right now :P

Like I said earlier, Bitcoin will go crazy this spring and summer and crash to (maybe) $30-$40k again and then take over a year to recover.

Just stared at the ticker for 20 minutes to get this:

An unexpected dump this morning on the recycled story of India likely banning BTC.

Weird since this was first reported months ago and there's plans for Indian Bitcoin ETFs. *shrugs*
