Re: Olympics: If I had a do-over--

I watched a ping pong game that was pretty fierce, one guy whacked the ball, ran around the other side of the table while his opponent whacked the ball back, came around the table just in time to hit the ball. Amazing, sure, but I don’t get why it’s an Olympic sport.

Re: What Are You Reading? Chapter 42

Just finished The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet. This book was in my sample downloads for… years. It just kept getting overlooked somehow. Watched it last night! It’s silly and ridiculous and I loved it.

Re: Remembering How To Shift

I ended up making hand/minipies with strawberry preserves. It was my first time using Smitten Kitchen's pie crust recipe, and definitely hands down a winner. Flaky and the portions would perfect for, you know, actual crusts. Very similar to Bravetart’s pie crust. But slightly different weights. Bra...

Re: Remembering How To Shift

What did you end up making? I have finally managed to figure out procedures for my apple galette. I have typed it up, but I need to print it out and put it in my recipe book. I have to print out a great many of my recipes, because I have changed them over the years. Although I don’t know why I bothe...

I don’t have to water the garden at least. Now if the damn plants would just grow. Whatever green thumb I may have ever had has buggered off this year.

It was hot fir a while, storms moved in yesterday and now it’s raining. It’s not pleasant out there, but it’s not a sauna at least.

Re: What are we watching?

I don’t want to move on to anything else until I can finish Loki, and I can’t finish Loki.

So, on to reading books! Except... I need a new book.

Re: Remembering How To Shift

We are doggo sitting for some of Dev’s friends. They are beautiful dogs, but not well trained at all. (And also out of their element and routine)

I am so very much a cat person!
