Re: What's in the Belly of the Board?

I thought I was a decent cook until I saw Cav’s insta. I’m not worthy, but I’d wash his dishes! He always manages to make food that I normally wouldn’t like (not a vegetable fan) and make me want to eat it. Lockdown helped me make better sourdough, mostly because everyone else was posting about it, ...

Re: Remembering How To Shift

I had to revert to my phone, which is the device used to take the photo, and go to shrinkpictures.com and muck around three or four times to finally get the thing small enough and under 6kb. And it’s still a bit blurry, but whatever. But I also know that Dweller is super busy and mods may not have a...

Re: What are you drinking? (and why?)

I like water with lime juice. Lemons too, but I prefer lime. No sugar. I have to deal with carbs because of borderline diabetes. Also, I do hope your rehab progresses well! *hugs*

Ivan, I don’t like gin, but that gin sounds delicious!

Re: For the Newbies

Once upon a time I was a newbie too, and I am awkward and anxious and so I lurked, I am an antisocial introvert who also needs to belong to a family. And so it took me a long while to open up. Smaug told me no one was going to get to know me unless I posted things and told them about myself. So I di...

Re: Remembering How To Shift

I watched the second Maleficent movie on Disney. Not entirely sure why, the first one was meh. But I need something to knit this boring scarf.

I have made some very poor decisions in life to lead to this.
I don’t understand fat free half n half.

*gestures* The Flames are now in David Bowie's Pants. ... I guess they always were. They certainly were for me. i saw that movie on the big screen, when it premiered. I was 16. It was slightly confusing to have the hots for David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. See also: The Mummy Oh my, yes! At that ...

Re: What are you listening to?

David Tennant’s podcast this morning. I don’t really keep up with it every week, I just keep it for when I need a soothing Scottish accent. The Neil Gaiman ep was delightful.

Re: What are you drinking? (and why?)

We're massively overdue for a trip to the liquor store (need some good reds and some whiskey). But NA, I've been making lots and lots of Turkish coffee and espresso lately. There's an art to the former that I haven't fully mastered, but damn, it's good. I have never had Turkish coffee, but I suspec...
